Need Advice On A New Tagline

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We are a start-up called campus2careers.com which is a career community that connects college students and recent grads with small and medium sized businesses who don't get a chance to recruit on-campus. Our site allows users to build rich digital profiles (e.g. load videos, create an e-portfolio, etc.) improving the data points recruiters will use when evaluating the candidate. We recently changed names and are a looking for a new tagline. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Current considerations include the following, any of these stand-out to you?:
A job board of a higher degree
Easy Recruiting, Educated Talent
Find your future
Get to know your future
Small Business, Big Talent

Thank you in advance for your time and support.

Having worked a bit in HigherEd - I think that your tagline: Small Business, Big Talent is right on the mark.

If you are unsure, here are some variations:

    Small Business. Right Talent.
    Little Pool. Big Fish.
Be a Big Fish in a Small Pond.

I am curious - how are you reaching out to both employers and students?

I like the idea of the big fish, small pond; good imagery and it alleviates some of the issues we were having with the taxonomy of a small business. Many businesses would not appreciate being called small. As for the sourcing, we are going to work thru channel partners and online and traditional marketing. We have developed relationships with career centers and organizations that support SMBs, e.g. chambers, SBDCs, etc. It is still a chicken and egg game, however, and we consider this to be our biggest challenge.

Thank you both for your feedback.

Who should the tagline appeal to? The students or the businesses (who's paying for your services)? The tagline needs to convey the key benefit you're providing your target customer.

Jay, thanks for the feedback/comments and you are right, I did not define the client in my above inquiry...my bad. The client or buyer is the company, so the tagline should appeal more to them; however, we have a chicken and egg situation (need employers to drive student turnout and visa-versa) so the taglines that are most appealing speak to both. The current favorites amongst the circle of people working on this with me (and supersedes the above) are:
Small pond, big fish (from kimberly_mccabe on this site) and
Next generation recruiting (which a friend just recommended)
    Thoughts? Thanks everyone...
