Creative Job Title For Business Card

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
So here is my dilemma. I need to get business cards printed and I need a great title.

But.. I currently have two very different jobs.

Originally, I was originally the receptionist.... my idea for my title at that point was "the face of thoughtworks" (thoughtworks is my company).

Now... I work 50% reception, 50% recruiting. Candidates that come in for interviews are pretty much the only people who need business cards, and the like, but I would like to mention both... I just need a creative title to express it all!

Any ideas!?!??!

it seems to me that a good title can help position you in the eyes of people calling your company, in the eyes of those you try to recruit, in the eyes of those within your company, and down the road, in the eyes of future employers.

What about, "Special Projects"? this lets recruits know your organization feels they are special, and this lets managers in your company know that you are ready, willing, and able to help them with special projects.

    Dear Dani,

Tend to agree with Phil on this one.

No receptionist I've ever worked with has had or needed a business card. Not necessary.

    So.

But. What you DO NOT NEED is a fancy, made up, B.S. sounding job title, just to be tricksy. "The face of thoughtworks"? Whatsaabout?

Tells me nothing. Why not just call yourself "PA/Recruiter"

The term receptionist might put interviewees off (why are they being interviewed by a receptionist?). No offense dear, it's just that you'll get people wondering, and as no one else has said, it, I might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb.

If you can swing calling yourself "PA/Recruiter", then consider it.

    I hope this helps.
