It would be good if you could capture some hint of what business you're in, who your primary target audience is, and what important benefit you provide. The name "Pink Sugarplums" only suggests little girls, not what you offer or why anyone might consider buying from you.

Let's start with the marketing objective and plan. How are people going to learn about your online boutique? Who is your ideal customer? What demographic? Where do they live? How are they related to the little girl for whom they're buying? Is this for special occasions only? What is it the buyer needs to hear to get them interested?

In short, what's the positioning for your business? You can't just open up an online storefront and expect people to flock to your site. It doesn't work that way. If we understand your objective and plan, we can probably come up with an appropriate and whimsical tagline for you. Otherwise it's just whimsy for its own sake ... a real missed opportunity for you.

Besides, the word (name removed) in your name is already a little whimsical. How much whimsy do you want/need when people don't even know who you are or what you sell? Maybe "whimsy" isn't what you really want in a tagline.

Here's a quick overview of what I've been doing: Over the past 5 years I've been creating costumes, flower girl dresses for weddings, and tutus for recitals and birthday parties for ages newborn - 6 years. I have also been embroidering matching onesies and/or bloomers for longer than I care to remember.

My target audience has been friends, family, co workers and referrals. They have mainly been in Chicago, Indiana and Ohio. Everything has been strictly word of mouth. I keep getting requests for my website, So that's where I am now. I'm just looking for a way to increase my productivity and make things easier for my current and future referrals. Setting times/dates for everyone to come to my studio to see everything in person just isn't feasible anymore.

The demographic has mainly been moms with younger children, grandmothers with new grand babies and brides with flower girls. The majority of my calls are looking for that unique girly girl gift for their daughter or niece. My current marketing is going to the mall with my 2 year old daughter in one of her skirts and matching hat. So I'm not expecting this website to draw in a million people, I'm mainly looking to maintain and expand.
