Looking For A Name For My New Landscaping Company

I am splitting from my partner and we own a well known garden center. I am taking the landscaping business and he is keeping the garden center. I need a new name for my landscaping business. I want a name that reflects the feeling of creating a mountain resort. a Nutural name. We will be doing landscaping, design, and maintenance. Here is an example " Stillwater Landscaping @ Design" People know me by name , Steve, do i want to use my name in the name?

    My last name is to hard to pronounce so I do not want to use it. People butcher it all the time. Thanks for the feed back.

    I have a number of questions that would help us all come up with some well-targeted names:
    * Why the focus on "mountain resort"?
    * Are you located in a mountainous area? (where are you located in the world)
    * Are you focusing mostly on residential or commercial?
    * By mentioning "resort", are you hinting that you want to focus on high-end accounts?
    * What region are you targeting for clientele?
    * Do you also do hardscape or solely plantings?
    * What are names of your competition that you like (and don't) -- and why?

    I have an odd idea for naming. Have you noticed 'trailer parks' have such exotic and rather unique names for the "parks". Take a look see at their approach and let your mind wander.

    2nd, though your last name seems hard to pronounce...so?
    Smuckers, Kawasaki would be an example of usage.

    Mocando you have some great points. Maybee I'm going down the wrong trail. I was thinking of a mountain theme because the busness is in Montana. I do both comercial and residential work. I have been tageting upper scale homes in the past but will do any work at this point. I want to be known, and we are, for turning out great projects that we stand behind.     Do you have some kind of hallmark, a feature that you try to incorporate in all your designs?

    I was thinking Stillwater sounds static.

    Most new landscaping efforts I see today have moving water.

    You could capitalise on a rather well-known American architectural icon by using the name Fallingwater Landscapes, perhaps?
