Help Me Name My Business

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am a Professional Life Coach in the process of naming my business along with a tag line.

I will be focusing on personal life coaching but want to keep it generic enough to allow me to do business coaching if necessary. I also love to coach around vision.

I am thinking "Life Unlimited" with a tag line of:

Dream big . . . . Live large

Any suggestions or input would appreciated.

You are telling us already that you have a desire to keep your business's brand "generic enough" and that you you will be in a business that has seen thousands of people trying to compete in.
I can see the yawns already...
So why do you need our help?
The people in this group will give you some original ideas, ideas that will try to differentiate you from the competition, ideas that will not be generic but brand specific etc.
Stay with the names you have already, they are generic.

I think the names you've chosen work great. I would identify "Life Unlimited" with Personal/Business Coaching so people know what you are from the start. You don't have to enjoy 50-50 split in clientele to make it a true tag.

From my perspective, people that hire a business coach don't hire personal/life coaches (and visa versa). While the work you do wearing either hat is similar, the perception is different, the language is different, and goals are different. Therefore, I suggest that you create two names, each targeting a different niche.

Consider: "Life Unlimited Coaching" to clearly state you're a coach. And if you're certified, make sure that's mentioned in your tagline.
