Palm Tree & Shrub Brokerage Company Needs Name

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
My husband & I were purchasers for a landscape design firm. We are branching out on our own & need a name for the company. We are palm tree & other ornamental plants & shrub brokers. We locate & sell these trees at wholesale prices to a variety of clients including landscapers, landscape designers, builders, nurseries, etc. We are located in Florida but will be selling to several states. We need something trendy & professional that companies will remember. As I'm typing this, I reread my line in the beginning that said "branching out" Could that be a possible name?? My husband has had visions of money falling off our trees...
Thanks for your help.

    Dear christina.vazquez,

According to Google's keyword search tool, the term
Palm Tree Decor was searched for by 14,800 people in August.

So, what about "The Palm Tree Decor Company."?

Additionally, the domain name thepalmtreedecorcompany.com is currently available. If you want this name, jump on it swiftly.

I hope this helps. Good luck to you.

Steve- Tropical Paradise Wholesale isn't as catchy as I'd like. I will keep it in mind.

Gary- Thanks for that research! However, when I think of palm tree decor, I think more of residential clients buying small quantities, not of the volume we anticipate selling in.

    Keep em coming!! :)

    Dear Christina,

I take your point, but note that what you and what I think isn't important; it's what your CUSTOMERS think.

If 14,800 people are searching for "palm tree decor", that's a pretty big market to hook into.

There would be nothing to stop you from adding in the word "commercial" into the term "palm tree decor" (or whoever you sell) to in order to add appeal.

Listen to your audience, or at least see how many people are searching for the terms connected to your market.

    I hope this helps.

The problem that you face is you're wanting something "trendy & professional that companies will remember". But you're basically selling B2B, so rather than try to be clever, be direct. Say what you offer in your name and leave your marketing to showcase the range of plants you offer. By being too clever, you risk the chance that a landscaper will see your name, scratch their head trying to figure out what you're selling, and move on.

ThePlantBrokers.com, ThePalmBrokers.com, and TheShrubBrokers.com are available and covers your range of services. You might consider purchasing all 3 domains (and have them point to the same website) to help your SEO efforts. None of these names are trendy, but they are all memorable.
