Tagline For A Name Badge And Awards Company

Posted by mollyp on 500 Points
We are working on rebranding our company and working on a new tagline. Our company sells a variety of identification and recognition products, mainly name badges. We consider ourselves very customer focused and leading edge in innovation and design/variety for name badges. when a customer asks for something new we develop it. That would be our greatest strength.
We want something catchy and fun, not the typical
"we are innovative and customer focused"
thanks!

it is true that we really customize alot of the products, but we want to stay away from words like traditional, we want to go with something a bit more catchy but not too kitchy...also we are worldwide providers. Thanks for the input so far. This is a tough thing and important as well.

I think I'm a little confused. You're asking for a tagline as part of a company rebranding, but you want to keep the reputation you've earned under the current/old brand name and image.

So why are you rebranding, and what is at the core of the rebranding effort? What is the old brand image, and what do you want the new one to be? What's the NAME of the company? Are you going to appeal to a new and different target audience? Who is that audience? What do they need/look for when making a purchase decision?

Rebranding is not something you want to take lightly. It's a big deal, because you are going to have to change perceptions of your company. It's different from coming up with a revised logo or a new advertising campaign. And if the only thing you're changing is your tagline, that's hardly a rebranding effort.

Maybe you can give us more information and give us a sense of what you're trying to accomplish with this rebranding effort, and what is driving this. We can probably help, but not without understanding the objective and the situation that prompted you to take such a drastic action.

As you undoubtedly know, a brand is a lot more than just a name with a tagline and a logo. A true rebranding is much more difficult than establishing a new brand, and there has to be a good reason for doing it or it will never succeed. And it's certainly going to require a substantial investment -- of both time and money.
