Tagline For Emerging Fine Artist

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am currently going through the process of promoting myself as a fine artist and would like a catchy tagline which would resonate with 1) customers who would buy my work & 2) gallery owners who would represent me.

I want to come across as professional, creative, and memorable.

I work in a versatility of media including: Portrait Painting (oils, watercolor, acrylic, ink), Metalsmithing & Jewelry, Instillation & Sculpture, Bookarts...etc

I have recently completed my logo which is a Victorian silhouette self-portrait (in the shape of a cameo). I wanted it to show my ability to render the figure and alludes to my interests in Jewelry.

I have initially been going with:

Nina Grosser
Artist & Designer
Painting - Metalsmithing - Sculpture - Graphics

I feel this is cold and boring, which is not what I want to advertise myself as. So, any help or brainstorming would be appreciated!

Instead of focusing on the mediums you use, why not focus on the type of art you're producing in your tagline: modern? portraits? vintage? For example, "Portrait Artist Using All Mediums".

I agree with what's been said here...

It seems you are hostage to your many and varied skills.

Were I looking to buy "Fine Art", and assuming I equate that to a painting... I'm not sure but what I would be somewhat negatively impacted by a painter that also does metalwork.

No slight meant here whatsoever. Just trying to be helpful and objective.
