Choosing A Name For A Small Spa Practice

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
I am starting my own massage and facial practice. It is not located in a salon or spa but rather in a business office located in good area near 2 hotels, a gym, several restaurants, etc. I will be working by myself and will be offering massage, body wraps and treatments, facials, chemical peels and microdermabrasion. I want to market myself as a spa suite or studio where you can get personalized spa tretments in a cozy atmosphere. The environment will be clean lined, urban but warm and cozy. I will also be offering thai yoga massage at the first of the year when I complete my training in Thai Yoga Massage. I would like a simple name, not to grandiose, that lets people know what I do that doesn't sound too "foo-foo".

    Here are a couple:

    Total Body Techniques
    Total Body Care
    Caring Hands

Something I often do when I have a task like this is pick some words that are close to what I am looking for and then look them up in a thesaurus. Sometimes looking at several words with a similar theme helps me think it through and come up with the right combination.

    Hi,
Try this apps for Iphone, https://www.thebrandgenerator.com its a real professional tool to generate (intelligent) brand names.
For exemple, you put your key concept in the field (Maybe SPA or CAR (for CARE) ), and after you select which kind of positioning you want to have for your brand . For you, maybe HEALTH CARE positioning can be OK for you or SOFT, or JAPAN) . Or try others. (there is 22 positioning in pro version)
The apps will generate semantic items added to key concept, wich express the positioning you choosed.
So it's provide you a list of ORIGINAL names, linked with your business et what is the positioning of it.
This apps is the same as used by the Brand Naming Agencies ! It is developed by a 20 years experienced prof in naming.
