Who is the target audience for the slogan and tagline? Do you know how the target audience perceives OGDCL now?

If not, then your first step should be a quick research project to find out. If you DO know what the brand image is, then you need to determine if/how you want to change it.

And if you do want to change it, how will you measure the effect of your efforts? If you're just putting lipstick on the pig, then you're wasting your time (and ours). The change will have to be one of substance, not just a clever slogan.

If you simply want to reinforce a current perception, that's a lot easier. Just remember it's about perceptions, not your own preconceived idea of what's true and what's not.

So what's the objective of the slogan? Are you (and they) trying to change someone's mind, or just wanting to puff their chests out a little and get people to notice them?

dear Mgoodman: OGDCL is considered by the people as leading Oil & Gas explorer. new engineering, petroleum graduates love to get job here. however, target audience is not specified but includes internal investors, young educated people, government bureaucracy, government policy and decision makers etc.
slogans of Mr. Brent Scarcliff are also good but i still need few more options.
