Help With Tagline For Youth Ministry

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am launching a Youth Ministry in a few months that is completely nontraditional in its structure and not your normal church ministry. We have come up with a tagline and want your advice on it. "Experience whats outside the box!"

Could be a good tagline, depending on the name of the ministry. (Does it communicate who the target audience is and why they might be interested?)

Of course, the "outside the box" metaphor has been overused to the point where it's becoming trite. A lot of people don't even think about what it means anymore ... other than "different."

The CONCEPT, though, should appeal to young people who are questioning traditional organized religious affiliation. I presume that's the objective, right?

And you need an apostrophe in "what's." (English teacher comment; I couldn't resist.)

Why would "experience outside the box" appeal to the ministry? I understand that the structure is nontraditional, but what's the benefit to the youth you're hoping to attract? Another thought, "Not Your Parents' Ministry" may be something to consider.
