Diner/coffee Shop Tagline Quest

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi,

I have been toying around with ideas of changing the tagline for my diner business (we serve breakfast and lunch from around the world with many homemade specialties. We are characterized for always been busy and friendly fast service. Also, our menu is traditional american fare...greasy spoon, with a lot of personal international specialties).

I would love to hear any other ideas out there that can help me find a catchy tagline for a coffee shop business.

Thanks a million.

Ada

    Ada,

Who are your customers? Where are they? Why do they come to your diner? Is the "international" thing because YOU like international variety, or is it because you have customers from many different parts of the world?

What is the name of the diner, and what's the current tagline? Can you use the name of your region (e.g., Hudson Valley's Taste of the World, etc.)

Can you help us understand WHY you want to change the tagline? What do you think it will do for your business? Or are you just getting tired of the old tagline and looking for a change?

Help us understand the goal -- and your current situation -- and we'll come up with some good candidates for your new tagline.

    Michael,

    Thank you for your response!

My diner is called Martin's Coffee Shop and the current tagline is The Healthy Way To Start The Day.

However, I am trying to change the tagline to something that markets both the breakfast and lunch clientele. The business is located in Brookline Village and caters to a variety of ages (mostly college students, the weekend brunch families, older people, or working people during the week).

The international flare is not a big focus in our menu, but a lot of our menu items are named after different countries. I would describe the menu more of traditional American fare or the greasy spoon diner. We just wanted to add more to our menu so that our patrons had more choices available to them.

    Thanks again,

    Ada
