Tagline For A Web Developer

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I recently decided on my branding for myself as a Web Developer and i have chosen the name Dynamic Palette.

The word Dynamic signifies that I am multi-dimensional in that I have had numerous professional positions in a variety of fields (Video game Industry, SEO, and Armed Forces) and that this helps me understand clients' individual needs better. It is also a reference to web programming.

The word Palette signifies the variety of skills I possess , with which I mean that I can design and layout websites and Front-end Web Development(HTML, CSS, & JavaScript), but that I can also program in the back-end and add many interactive features to make the site more interesting and user-friendly(PHP & ActionScript).

Some of the keywords I am going for are professional, versatile, reliable, clear, logical, or somewhere along those lines.

I am trying to go for something catchy and fun, yet professional. Thanks in advance.

i don't understand your request, please be more specific.
So, you have chosen your name and now you want like an USP, a slogan etc.?

    thank you

    as for a tag line:
    - WEB up your business.
    - Worthiness, Wise,Worthiness

Yes, I am looking for a tagline or slogan that I can add underneath my logo

I had one idea so far which was Dynamic Palette - "Creative, Logical Solutions for the Web", but that doesn't seem very creative.

I would like to stress the dynamic part, that I can do numerous sides of Web Design and Development and not just one side; That I have multiple skills on both the design and development side and would like to wrap that up in a tagline somehow

Keep it simple, something like "Dynamic Palette - Infront, Online".

Although I think you should put a bit of thought into specialising in one area. I appreciate that your background has given you a multitude of abilities, but your clients will only want one. The ability to give them what they want.

There are way too many general web developers around, due to the low barriers to entry. By focusing on one area (but still offering the others) you will soon create a USP and be separate from the crowd..

I'd also like to agree with WMMA, the word creative shouldn't go first. Our tagline is WEB + PRINT + CREATIVE even though the CREATIVE is the major part of our business. I'm not sure of your market, but where I operate there are alot of designers that are creative for creative's sake and our clients like to be assured that our creativity is based on their brand and message.

    I hope this helps....

Consider also changing your business name to: "Dynamic Palette Web Design". That'll make your business name stand on its own, allowing for a bit more creativity in your tagline (since "Dynamic Palette" doesn't give me a good clue what your business is).

A couple more ideas for your consideration:
    Front/Backend Web Solutions
    Creatively Solving Web Problems

Thank you very much for all your suggestions and input!

After consideration I have chosen WMMA's suggestion of 'Logical, Creative Web Solutions'
