    Dear Sharon,

If you are a part of a local community you have presence: that
is, you've already established yourself and your name is known.

What this means is that changing your name will introduce doubt
as to whether you're the same company your customers have come to know and love.

    In marketing, doubt is death.

When any business changes its name in an attempt to reposition itself, it instantly loses market share, but more importantly, it also loses share of mind.

In the mind, doubt and positiveness cannot occupy the same space—they cannot travel down the same neural pathway and arrive at the same destination.

So, I also suggest that you RESIST the urge to change your name. I also suggest you cut your tag line because at the moment it's too long and it's all over the place.

Were I in the market to buy cakes for my kids, as Phil suggests, the line "The Perfect Bite, Big Taste, Small Package" would mean more to me than the rest of your tag line.

I hope this helps. Good luck to you.

Why not: "The Kids Bakery" or "The Kids & Teens Bakery"?
