I am ready to start selling French Antiques and Art on line with a website. Looking for a name that will let customers know I am selling pieces from France. Need to be able to purchase the domain that will tie into name.
I sell oil paintings from 1920's, antique architectural elements, and some antique furniture. Would like the name to reflect my pieces have style and flair...a relaxed elegance

Thanks for brainstorming. I don't think those suggestions tell my customers I am selling antiques and art. I don't understand the link?

These are potential brand names referring to the 1920s French arts movement.

If you want a descriptive URL instead, try FrenchArtAndAntiques.com

    Dear OnlyfromFrance,

    Names:

    French Antiques and Art
    Antiques and Art From France
    French Art and Antiques

FrenchFineArtAndAntiques.com is available as a domain name,
    as is FineFrenchAntiquesAndArt.com

The secret here is to tell people straight up what you're offering.
This way, there can be no confusion in the minds of potential
buyers as to what you supply.

I hope this helps. Good luck to you.

    Dear onlyfroomfrance,

First, there is NOTHING ordinary about the name FrenchFineArtAndAntiques.com

Second, no one's said a word about being ordinary or everyday.
The perception of "special" or "ordinary" is in the mind of your
buyers is the thing that matters, not what's in your mind.

From Dan Kennedy, there's this: when it comes to marketing, any argument from any business owner—I don't care who they are, where they are, who they sell to or what they sell—and any argument that "Oh, but my business is different!" is nonsense.

What this means is that your business is NO different than any other:
it offers something someone wants or needs for a price. You need your customers. But they do not need you.

This means putting in front of customers the thing they're looking for,
or it means constructing a message with enough meaning to ensure that your notion of exclusivity meets THEIR interpretations of exclusivity with enough power to make them want to find out more.
