Naming My Business

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Any ideas on naming and branding a spa business geared to the gentleman, but not excluding the ladies? We are in the Pacific NW.

We are looking for something masculine. We are not limiting ourselves to just gentleman, however, we do want to make it a haven for men who need spa services.

My thoughts were of a stag in the mist and doe in the meadow for a product line picture brand. But my partner and I are trying to come up with a name for the spa itself.

Martin & Temple is our idea, but our real question is should we name them the same, and is the name catchy for a higher end spa in the Pacific NW?

With the little we have until you give us more about what the client details are-age income competition, geo. location area in town highend or industrial etc this might get things started...

Martin & Temple can work for you. But whatever name you choose, you're starting with a name that has no recognition with your target market. You'll certainly need a tagline to further refine what you're offering and to who ("A Gentleman's Spa"). How will a masculine spa's services differ from a woman's spa (besides having more men around)?

    Hi, jdarelmp

I like Martin & Temple, it can make a great brand. It has spa related softness, heaven related word "temple", and, at the same time, it sounds strong. Soft and strong - that's what you need. But everything, of course, depends on your target audience profile.

    Whatever Happens -
    Good luck!
