We need a catchy tagline for our agency "NRV TRAVELS" We would like it to say something about our great service if possible or just something catchy. We are a full service home-based agency.

We can't give you specific ideas unless you give us more details about your agency:

    Where are you located?
    What do you specialize in?
    Who are your ideal clients?
    What makes you great/unique?

Without specifics, all we can provide are generic phrases that won't really help you much.

    Dear nrvtravel,

A cool and cathy tag line and your great service are not enough to set you apart from every other travel agent.

Catchy Is Not a Selling Strategy™ The fact that you are a "full service home-based agency" means nothing and in reality, no one is buying full service, home based anything if that full service service does not specifically align its services and products with their dreams and desired outcome.

Where do your customers want to go? Why do they want to go there? How will you take them there in a way that is significantly different to the ways Expedia.com or Hotels.com would take them there?

Give thought to these questions before you get too fixated with a tag line.

Why do you need a cool and catchy tagline? What do you expect it to do for you?

Taglines are supposed to communicate or punctuate a compelling positioning benefit. If you don't have a strong positioning benefit, no tagline is going to save you. And if you do have one, you're better off communicating it clearly and not worrying about how cool or catchy it is.

You have another problem: The name NRV TRAVELS doesn't mean anything. So not only does your tagline have to communicate a specific important benefit, but it also has to explain the "nonsense name" that it supports. Not an easy task.

You might want to re-think the basic business reason-for-being, the important consumer need you're addressing, your very specific target audience, and the marketing strategy you're planning to follow. (How will your target audience learn about you?)
