Tagline For School Printed Supplies

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
We supply schools and educational facitilities a wide variety of printed forms, lesson plan books, class record, books, receipt books, folders, and related items (see our website at https://www.supremeschoolsupply.com). The name of the company is Supreme School Supply.

Note in addition to our catalog and website items, we also have a full service commercial printing business in the same building. We do a variety of custom printing for schools, including literature, banners, magnets, posters and related items.

We are working on a printed piece where I need a tagline / slogan that represents our overall business. Below are some options, my preference is for the first one but there may be others that are better from an external perspective, or other thoughts you might have not on this list:

Supplying Your School Printing Needs
Your School Printing Resource
Your School Printing Supplier
Your Education Printer
Your Education Printing Source

Please offer your thoughts on these or other alternates. Thanks!

Steve

I'd like to see you go with something that has more of an emotional payoff or benefit for your target audience. Perhaps something like "School Spirit Specialists" or "Delivering School Spirit in Print," etc.

The idea is to deliver more than "printed material," perhaps the end benefit of the printed material.

All the alternatives you list are somewhat mechanical ... they tell more about the "steak" than the "sizzle."

Steve, FWIW, I would urge that you go the end benefit route and let the "boring" stuff come along for the ride. Arguably the tardy slips (et al.) not only improve school efficiency, but also contribute (in their own way) to the decorum and order that are part of the "school spirit" benefit.

There are several companies that position themselves based on their top-of-the-line products, and the not-so-top-of-the-line items benefit from the rub-off. If you position yourself as the "School Spirit" benefit providers, there's no reason you can't also deliver paper clips, notebooks and tardy slips too.

Of course it has to be comfortable for you. I think you may have an opportunity to promote the custom printing part of your business (via design and production capabilities), and actually grow the stock-items (e.g., the tardy slips) in the process. (The "coattails" approach.)

The positioning would then be "all-item printing to consistently deliver school spirit," or something like that.

I'm trying to think of something that ties Printing (the industry) with Printing (the skill learned at school) but striking out.

I always like things like "Your Old School Printhouse" because it makes me stop to decide if I have to pronounce the "th" together or separately.
