I Need A Name For Boutique

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
So in a 2 weeks, I am opening a boutique so I am asking you to help me name it. I live in Macedonia (that's in Europe, near Serbia :))) and I want to open a stylish and fancy boutique with unique clothes. I'm 19 years old and I'm at university, I know I'm still young but I want to start my 'some-kind-of' own business. My mother has a factory where she makes clothes for kids, and I want to open a boutique where I would sell unique dresses, t-shirts, jeans for girls from 18 until 25 years... I'm asking for your help, please answer as soon as you can...
Wish you all the best,
Daria

    Daria,

If I were you, I would think about the people (your target) and how they perceive such boutiques in your area. Maybe even talk with (informal interview) a few of these people and listen to what they say, what words they use to describe their shopping experience. Then when something hits you as a potential name for your store, get some feedback. From this process you should discover a name that will actually help you with your marketing.

    good luck,

    Steve

Thank you everybody for your answers especially to Phil Grisolia and Steve Byrne for your advices how can I develope and go on with my business.

I would ask you again for help, and this time I would ask you if you can give me some more simple names. It's not that people in Macedonia don't know to read or speak English, it's that it sounds differently in our language and maybe not so attractive (if i could say that about boutiqe name).

So if you can think of some names who are simple, easy to read and not with much 'R' in it, because in your language this letter it's with a lil bit of different accent and it sounds kinda weird when you'll read it on macedonian.

So please help me, go through this...I think that this is like the most hard decision to make. And if you have some ideas, maybe about names starting with the letter D.

Thank you so much about your help.

    Sincerely,
    Daria
