Name For Photography And Digital Imaging Company?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Your help naming my photography and imaging company would be appreciated.

I just can't come up with the right name. I do product photography and corporate portraits as well as the usual wedding and children's portraits.

I also produce images for website both photography and digital paintings.

I want the name to sound professional and not cute.

Thankyou
Claire

Who is your primary target audience? Where are they? How do they select a photographer? Do they have a short list of providers that they use, or is each project open for bidding? Who makes the purchase decision? What do they look for when making that decision? What criteria do they use?

And how are these folks going to find out about you? What is YOUR marketing plan?

What unique benefit do you promise? Why should someone hire you? Do you have a range of examples of good work you've done? How are you different from, and better than, all the other photographers out there?

The answers to all of these questions will help us do a better job of coming up with a name for your company. You've come to the right place. Now we just need a bit more information so we can deliver for you.

    Thankyou for your quick response.

I currently work freelance for 2 companies and have worked on a number of projects including logo designs, team portrait photography, product photography, artwork for company Christmas cards and customer presents, website images and re-vamping company stationery.

I also work part time as a wedding a portrait photographer catering for weddings, birthdays, children and family portraits and even pet photography.

My work comes from word of mouth and local advertisements but I am keen to publish my website which is near enough ready. Just need a name.

I am trading under my own name (Claire Dannatt) at the moment but don't like it as a company name.

As well as traditional photography I also work with new techniques and my work tends to be quite modern.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated

You are right when you say its hard to think of a name:-)

Based on the fact that you address a wide array of segments , I suggest you go in for a professional yet not a corpoarte sounding name.Better still let it be a catchy namethat people can remember. On this line i suggest following

    crimson hues

    portraits inc

    pixels

    clearday

    moments

    bright hues
