Need Tagline For Elder Health Clinic

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Wisdom Health is an on-site clinic that will be opening in a retirement community. We need a tag line to express that this clinic is more than just medical. The practitioner (a Doctor of Osteopathy) spends time with patients, helping them use their internal wisdom, the "wisdom of elders" to find ways to feel better psychologically, even if the medical problem can't be "fixed." She also offers complete medical treatment. The patients range from independent residents to those in the on-site nursing home. Some descriptive words we have thought of are: pleasant, mellow, caring, respectful, dignified. Words we don't want to use are: geriatric, senior, medical, health care. Can you please help us tie together the business name, Wisdom Health, with a tag line that clarifies our unique approach to elders? Thanks!

Karen, thanks for your suggestions. I will check out Kabat Zinn - it has helped in past. "Wisdom of the Elders" has the idea of the Sage - the council of wise people to whom the rest of the community turns for help. In this case, I believe the Doctor encourages the elders to use their OWN wisdom, to trust themselves. Not sure if this brings me any closer to a tag line, but if you think of anything else or have specific suggestions for tag lines, I would be grateful. Thanks!

    Phil -

Thank you for your tag line offerings. They are the first concrete suggestions we have received - will definitely run them by the client.

My only hesitation is that, quite often, it is the children who locate /decide upon medical and psychological care for their aging parents. Your suggestions speak directly to the patients themselves. Perhaps we need a way to put things in the third person? Your thoughts?

I also appreciate your critique of the "preferred" words (the client's own) and their weaknesses. Gives me a greater awareness of the way things are perceived from the marketing angle.
