Stitches Of Ayr Tagline

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am opening a consignment store in my small town of Ayr, carrying used children's clothes and toys/baby equipment, and maternity. I also plan to carry some new women's and men's clothes. Finally, I am a sewer and do custom embroidery work.
The company name is Stitches of Ayr, which is the name of the embroidery business I have already established. I need an add on to the name, or a tag line for this business. Thought of Nearly New Boutique, or Children's Consignment and More, but I'm not sure.

Why not add the word "Consignments" to your business name "Stitches of Ayr" (as in, Stitches of Ayr Consignments)? It'd allow you to enhance your business name without causing confusion. Then your tagline can focus on who you're targeting: Children & Maternity Specialists (I know you want to sell more than that, but you'll have trouble trying to be all things to all people).

I like the idea of adding Consignments to the name. So if I went with "Stitches of Ayr Consignements", I still need a good tagline. I'm really targeting mothers - pregnant moms, new moms, experienced moms, and moms as their own person. How do I convey that in a good tagline? "Mom 2 Mom" maybe?

Wise people come from Ayr. Back in the '70's met a fellow on a flight and we talked of Ayr United football team who embarrassed my local team in an exhibition game. he took pity and gave me a suggestion that I invest 1K in a new business called Federal Express ....
I should have listened ... if I had a thousand dollars back then.

    goodluck.
