Of the two, JennAffairs is the better choice for a name.
    Here's why:

"In any event by Jennifer" is simply too long for most uses.
    - how would you create a logo from that
    - it would be longer than your tag line
    - imagine people asking 411 information for that number

    Two other big issues:
    - An Google search for JennAffairs will bring up only you. A search for the other brings up 9.5 million responses and the top listing is "Events by Jennifer" who I assume is not you.
    - for Word-of-Mouth/referral business JennAffairs is easy for someone to tell a friend and they can remember without little chance for error. "In any event by Jennifer" is not as easy or memorable.

    Best of Luck, JohnnyB.

    My vote is for JennAffairs.

This name has much more potential for recognition and continued growth. "In any event by Jennifer" sounds like what I would expect to see on a plywood sign in someones front yard in a shady neighborhood.

    1. JennAffairs has prestigious air about it and comes across as hip and trendy.

    2. Short is almost always better.

    3. Jenn-Affairs.com is available: https://www.networksolutions.com

    4. JennAffairs is much more likely to look impressive when designed as a logo.

Shorter names that are descriptive are best - since they're easier to remember and less likely to get hijacked by a new competitor (In Any Event By Fred, Any Events, etc.). A name is simply a way for people to remember you by - it's up to you to create an experience that would get people referring you to others. Remember: It's not about the name - it's how people feel working with you.
