A Fun Company Name Needed For A New Pie Business!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello marketing gurus!

I've recently started a gourmet pie company making amazing pies! We sell the pies at local farmers markets and to fine food stores.

I am currently selling meat pies (savoury pies), but plan to expand to fruit pies in the spring. The pies are handcrafted, and made from local ingredients grown on local farms. The business is a community oriented business. I live in a small town and everyone has been providing great support as the business unfolds!

I'm interested in a fun and lively name - a name that people will remember, and perhaps even cause them to smile when they hear the name. - Isn't that what every great marketer wants for their brand? Memorability?

The company name can be silly, fun, cute, or clever.

I'd love to hear your ideas!

Miriam

    These are great answers!

I truly appreciate the creative thoughts and the time everyone has spent on this!

I'll add a few comments and leave the question open a little longer.

Some of the best suggestions, sadly, are already taken. Yes - there really are companies out there already named "Pie in the Sky", "Little Jack Horner" and "Easy as Pie" - other great marketers and brand managers have already been at work on this one before me!

Pi4u is a clever one and as my husband is an engineer is a nice tie-in. It was one I had on our "idea list" but wasn't sure if enough people would get it.

Brent - I like "Cutie Pies" It's very fun and with two young children, might be a good fit.

Phil - "TasteTempter Pies" is a creative idea and one we hadn't thought of at all. I also appreciate the recommendations on speaking with a lawyer as a key "ingredient".

I'll leave the question open and see what else gets stirred up in people's imaginations!
