Know-How Exchange : Taglines/Names

First, forget catchy. That's not something you should seek. Better to communicate something meaningful ... like a benefit for your target audience.

Second, what you sell is less important than understanding what your target audience wants to buy. And to do that, we (and you) need to understand who that target audience is ... not just based on where they live, but also on what matters to them, what they're doing now, how they approach purchase decisions in your category, etc.

These kinds of questions and issues are central to the naming process, and if the name is important to you (as it should be), you won't skip this important up-front thinking about your positioning (and the resulting name).
