Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi all...
Need a catchy name for a collection of articles. Article titles compiled from various journals are to go out to customers who will be pick the ones appealing to them and communicate the preference to me. The respective full text articles of the titles chosen will be sent out to the customers in an attractive folder named........................i am stuck here :)
Thought of ONCO SCAN, ONCO EYE, Journal update...........and some more equally "un-catchy" ones...
Please help......
Thanks in advance..

    Dear stormbizz,

"Need a catchy name for a collection of articles". No, you don't.
You need a RELEVANT name. Catchy won't sell, does not sell, and
has never sold. Not in the long term.

Note this and note it well: Catchy is Not a Selling Strategy™

Who is your typical reader? What's in these articles for your reader? From where will you obtain this content? What permissions have you sought and obtained IN WRITING?

Reproduction of other people's content WITHOUT their consent, with or without any intent to generate monetary gain is a violation of international copyright law.

If you have all this, great. Just don't pass the material off as your own. But name-wise, tell us about your market, your ideal reader, their specific areas of interest, and what it is that drives them and then—THEN—let's talk about names.

    Sound like a plan?

    Dear Phil & Gary,

We have got all the permissions...The ground work has been done. No worries about that.

Relevant name...Yes I agree. Oncology market, Oncologists will be the target readers, have done the required research about their interest areas (which is again the latest research & treatment options in the onco segment), we have the articles purchased, rights acquired...all ready.

We come to the name again... Look forward to your suggestions.
