Vote My Taglines Pls, Or Possibly Add To The Idea

Posted by Anonymous on 200 Points
Hi everyone,

I posted here a few day back regarding some new tagline ideas for my mortgage broking business & have a rough idea of where I want it to go. I just thought I would put what I have so far on here & see what others could add to it.
I am looking for a tagline that tells people we can save them money (via our large choice of lenders) & I am also looking to add a question to it, the question being, "who is YOUR broker"? the "your" will be emphasised on the signs.
some ideas so far:
Saving our clients money for over 10 years. Who is your broker?

Paying too much interest? Who is your broker?

Saving our clients interest. Who is your broker?

The best terms for our clients. Always. Who is your broker?

Save Interest. Save Time. Who's your broker?

Paying too much interest? Who is your broker?

Saving our clients interest. Who is your broker?

It’s the interest you save that interests us. Who is your broker?

Want to save time and money? Who is your broker?

Saving you interest. Who is your broker?

Saving our clients interest for over 10 years. Who is YOUR broker?

I am really trying to do something a little different with our approach, as it is hard to stand out from the crowd when everyone in this line of business is advertizing similar taglines to each other.
If you do not have a suggestion, could you please vote for 1 of the above, or I am happy to listen to negative feedback as well, as this is just a few of us in the office who are throwing some ideas around.
thank you in advance for any help.
cheers.
Pete

I like many of your suggestions, but I question the approach. Here's why.

I see two large segments to the market that you serve, those with existing mortgages and those who are purchasing a new property. In this instance, what matters most to both groups is getting approved and paying the least amount of money.

I beleive most people don’t care who their broker is as long as they save money. And if you asked most people who their broker mortgage broker was, unless the transaction was just completed, they would have no idea nor do they care after the transaction is done.

I would focus on making a strong statement that you will provide the best rate and easiest process. Saying "Giving our Clients the Lowest Payments - Always" is on target. Adding "who is your borker" to the end adds nothing and lessens the impact of the first part.

Looks like the market is finally headed back in your direction.

    Best of Luck, JohnnyB.

    I agree with JohnnyB's thoughts.

Adding "Who is your broker?" actually interferes with the previous phrase. You're putting a thought into their memory, and then asking them a question - which means they'll job their memory but forget what you wanted them to remember.

If you want to stand out, since you've been in business for over 10 years, is to estimate how much money you've saved your clients over the years and highlight this number. For example:

    Happily Saving Clients Over $6,000,000

I agree with JohnnyB and Jay. Focus on the benefit. Don't distract with an irrelevant question.

Interesting feedback everyone, & as I said earlier, I am open to any negatives as well. We really want to get this right. Based on the feedback above, does anyone have anything further they could add as a possible tagline?
I will need to make a decision tomorrow as the new office is due to open on the 1st of March & I will need to inform the signwriter so he can finish the signs.
I am swaying towards "The best possible terms for our clients. Always - & drop the follow on question.

I will also post what we decide to use in the end in the forum. Again, many thanks to all for helping us out on this.
