Naming Our Mascot At Our Casino !!!

Naming our casino mascot will represent great customer service...He's blue and resembles sponge bob...The title is My name is ..... And thats what I need.. A name for him I was thinking of Slim Jim Beau... Whatcha think??? Bad huh...lol Our casino is Beau Rivage... in Biloxi Ms... Any suggestions are welcome.... Thanks......

    I'm a parent, and adult who likes Sponge Bob. However, I wouldn't want to link the likes of him to a casino. As an adult, the image is not something I relate to as being fun, especially at a casino. I'm not a marketing professional, but I like Biloxi Beau.

    P.S. At least you're not parading some attractive woman in a skimpy outfit.

    No new suggestions, but just want to offer that it might not be a good idea to change the mascot so that it looks more like a Slim Jim (meat stick) so that you can call it Slim Jim and have it be more familiar; the 'real' Slim Jim folks (who make the meat sticks) probably have a trademark, and they might consider that sort of thing infringing if it's made to look similar.

    Also, a question -- is the casino mascot supposed to represent great service in your hotel, or for gamblers? Will it be used in all parts of the business? Will your web site and other materials be changing to reflect a different (presumably more lighthearted) kind of brand?
