Need Name For New Clothing Store

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I'm opening a clothing store in a small downtown - leave it to beaver type town in the SouthEast. I will carry casual cotton for ladies, some "blingy" t-shirts including plus sizes for women, unique handbags, belts, costume jewelry, roxy clothes for teens, sketchers sneakers, some golf shirts and jackets for men. Customer will be 10-65 years old. I need a catchy name for the store that fits with the town.

What's the purpose of your "catchy" name? Why "catchy?" Wouldn't you rather have a name that will help customers view you in a positive way?

Let's talk about your value proposition. Why should customers buy from you? Surely they have other options. In fact, they're buying from those other options today. Why should they switch and buy from you?

It's good that you are catering to people in a limited location. That makes it much easier. But your age range is pretty large, and it's hard to imagine a female teenager shopping at the same clothing store as a man about ready to retire. You might consider focusing more on a specific age/gender/demographic segment.

And if we're going to come up with a name that will appeal to a person in your town, it probably makes sense to know the name of the town, along with any nicknames, familiar places of interest in town, etc.

We can definitely help, but we need a little more information if we're going to really do a good job for you.
