Spaghetti Dinner & Art Auction Tagline!

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I serve with a non-profit substance abuse prevention coalition. We are doing a spaghetti dinner and silent art auction dinner to raise money to repair our leaking roof and for the extended day program (after school program) for the students.

At the after school program we basically do indoor/activities with the kids & provide child care service for parents.

I need a tagline to market this event (as this will be one of the first ones). My supervisor suggested "Spaghetti Yeti" which I think is memorable & funny, but doesn't really display our message or what we do. Any ideas? Much appreciated!

Honestly, spaghetti and a giant furry sasquatch are not exactly a perfect marriage.

I also have never associate the Yeti with dinner, but I do think I saw him once running through the back country. If you have a great logo, and people get used to it, the distinctive nature could perhaps work for you in the long run.

I would keep it simple and call it - "Dinner to Help the Kids" and then describe the dinner and the activities you have planned. There are many people that want to help their community. If you communicate a clear message about the good you do and how people can support you - they will come.

Does your program have a name we can play off of?

    A couple of ideas:
    - Spaghetti Roofing Benefit
    - Noodle / Art Benefit

As JohnnyB said, the Yeti can be made a good long term brand property...If that's an objective.

And the Jay lines are very smart, can I take from there?
