Help With Tagline For Fundraising Campaign

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
I'm launching a fundraising campaign to build a breast health center affiliated with a community hospital. Though there are many good breast cancer causes, we want to inspire community members to give to THIS campaign because they will experience the benefits of their philanthropy - we'll be serving them, and generations of their families! They can also see the impact of their giving as the center is built and eventually women - and men (breast cancer is equal opportunity) are treated. We are also providing genetic counseling so generations will be effected.

We're wanting to express the ideas of giving locally, and that generations will be impacted by their giving

How about this for a tagline:

"Cancer Touches All Of Us"/"Because Cancer Touches All Of Us".

The meaning is twofold. One, whenever we see or read, or hear about cancer, it DOES touch us deep in the heart.

Two, cancer touches most people literally. Either directly (having the disease) or by being a friend or loved one.

Also, it clearly spells out WHY someone should donate. The disease hits everyone at some point and in some fashion. So, it is effective in that it motivates the reader to pull out his or her wallet, but, also explains why.

Good luck working with such a worthy cause. I commend you.

"Cancer in the Community" something that explains what and where you are dealing with. The tagline can say that breast cancer is your focus.
