Need A Name For A Fundraising Event For Women

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am Development Director for a local Habitat for Humanity affiliate, and there is a committee called "Women Build Homes" that does fundraising and outreach throughout the year. All money raised goes to build a home locally.
The committee - which I am staff liaison for -is working on planning a fundraising event that is targeted to women for the end of June, 2010. The event is on a Friday evening, from 5:30-8:30pm, and will include cocktails and appetizers, networking (although that's not the main focus), a silent auction and a speaker. The speaker's topic is "What's your PURSE-onality?" and is a humorous look at what a woman's purse says about her. The whole event is casual and fun, and targeted specifically to women.
The committee put the event on for the first time last year but in a smaller capacity (i.e. no food, no silent auction) and just called the event by the title of the speaker's talk.

We would like to make this an annual event and need a name that will be able to be re-used. Habitat for Humanity has an incredibly strong brand, which of course will help, but we'd like to make this event a standalone. Any ideas would be appreciated!!!

"Ears for Estrogen" explains that there is a speaker and that it is a female oriented function and it has a good ring to it. But I am male so maybe I am completely off.

Why not name it after your committee: Women Build Homes Gala?

    or,

    The Habitat Sisterhood Gala
    Ladies Fashioning Homes Gala

Thanks for the responses everyone! Karen, yes, the money raised by/from the women in attendance would go to the Women Build Homes committee.
I really like the idea of using the word social...but I don't think I like the word gala, because (to me at least) that implies something a little more formal. We definitely want to keep this event casual -- the silent auction will be set up and billed more as a shopping experience than a fussy auction.

I really like where some of these ideas are going. Any others would be appreciated!!!
