Need A Clever Slogan Fo A Drain Cleaning Company

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am an employee at A-1 Sewer & Drain Inc. a small business in Ohio and I am looking to help find a slogan or tag line for our company. Something that is going to make the customer choose us over the competition. Funny, clever or just business any ideas would be appreciated.

A tagline or slogan is not likely to "... make the customer choose us over the competition." That's something that comes with a solid track record of delivering what your customers want and need ... and going beyond the minimum to really delight them.

Your name clearly says what you do. So now the role of the tagline should be to extend that into some unique expression of the benefit for your customer. What makes you different from, and better than, your competitors? THAT is what we need to put in the tagline.

    Any good ideas?

We guarentee satisfaction and same day service, we are open for business 24/7 and offer the insight of a plumber in order to explain and help the customer understand the problems they are having and anything they can do as home owners to help prevent the problems.

A lot of our business comes from recomendations by family and friends, because we live in a small town that is how our name gets out. As well as through phone books and our websites that is why we are looking for a tag line or slogan, something that shows what we have to offer for our customers. I think something with the name A1 would be good because it shows that we are top of the line, just brain storming any more ideas?

"Serving [city name] 24/7/365. Satisfaction Guaranteed."

    Does that say it?

You don't need to repeat A-1 since it's already in your name. Focus instead on the things that make you different from and better than competition.

And avoid cute or catchy words or phrases, or puns. Just give folks a reason to call you first when they have a problem. And putting the city name in your tagline lets them know you're "one of them," and not some franchise or fly-by-night interloper.

Hemenways is my son. We have been in business for 16 years, he just came onboard. I am very pleased he is engaged in what we are doing! Send Koodos to him!

We have a new box truck that is a rolling billboard and need to get it lettered up. Our web site is a1seweranddrain.com There you will see the current trucks. As was said what we do is in our name. Under our current logo I think I want to add a red stripe under it with the words Drain Experts to the right. So, now customer knows one thing that is in it for them , "we are Experts". Above that logo I am trying to comeup with just what you all are saying. We provide superior service fair prices and leave your home as clean or cleaner than it was when we arrived. So, you see we do everything that a lot of the competition does. I really cant say one thing because most of my competitors are good folks too. So... we are trying to come up with just that something catch that expresses what is in it for the customer. Here are some that some of the franchise boys have come up with.

Roto-Rooter "away goes trouble down the drain"
Mr Rooter " there is a reason they call us MR, and quick as a wink"
One Hour heating and air- picture of a stop watch and a promise that we're on time or you don;t pay a dime

Benjamin franklin plumbing " the punctual plumber" "if we're not on time it's you we pay"

Sure we could list all our services on the truck, but every one does that.
