Tagline For Meezen Plaas Professional Catering

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
So i just posted to get everyone's thoughts on what the Meezen Plaas professional catering business means to you. The message I want to convey in my tagline is that we are an innovative, upscale, well organized, customer service oriented catering and planning company.
The way I see the name on a sign is
Meezen Plaaas
professional catering

or

Meezen Plaas
Innovative catering

Both of these seem too generic and i'm looking for a tagline that catches the consumers eyes, and appetite. I'm looking for something that flows off the tongue. I'm open to all criticism positive or negative as well as any ideas you guys might have for a tagline.

Thanks
Jeff

I've responded to your other post about the name. I think your attempt to be "cute" with the name is getting in the way of persuasive and memorable communication. It's forcing your tagline to do all the heavy lifting, instead of punctuating the communication with an emotional end-benefit reassurance.

My recommendation: Define clearly what you're trying to communicate with the name and tagline. Then prepare a Creative Brief and have a professional come up with a short list of name/tagline options for you.

It will cost a little money (in fees), but your name/tagline are critically important to the positioning in your customers' minds, so you don't want to be penny-wise and pound-foolish. This is important stuff if you are really committed to making your business a success. Treat it that way from the beginning.

P.S. to Phil: Those "pallets" are really "palates." Pallets are those wooden skids, or platforms, used by truckers and forklift drivers. But we get the idea.

If you're wed to your business name, then make the tagline to the point, for example: Catering For Exquisite Tastes.
