Need Real Estate Website Name

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I need to come up with a name for a website that lists open houses. While that may seem like a simple idea, most urls are taken. Hoping someone here can come up with something creative that can stand-out and be unique... but also explain what the site is about... open houses.

Yes, its noramlly difficult to get openhouse named URLs.

Have you ever tried something like

    www.openhouse.my

    and

    www.myopenhouse.my

Though it is a regional extension, the idea is to promote MY OPENHOUSE factor...

Your best bet may be to append some reference to your geography to the "openhouse" words. Where are you located? Who is the target audience for this website? What's the goal of the website? What are you trying to accomplish?

Tks for the responses so far.

This site will aggregate open house information on a national scale, from all brokers, and consumers will be able to search locally. There are numerous of these type of sites out there... but most are run by realtor boards, franchises, or major publishing entities. This one will be owned by all real estate firms that use it.

There is a definite "twist" to what this site is about... and it likely has an impact to a possible name, but I don't want to disclose it publiclly at this point. Is there any way to contact the creative minds here privately to get feedback??

I've done extensive research and couldn't come up with anything creative which is why I came here. Certainly don't want to waste peoples time.

Is there any way to get private input??? so google doesn't index the results or potential competitors can't view business models?

Your best bets for private assistance would be:

    1. Post a project in the "Hire an Expert" section of this website. (See link in the column at the right.)

    or

    2. Browse through the profiles of the top experts on this forum to see if any of them look like they might be right for your challenge. If so, contact them directly, using the email addresses in their profiles.

There would be a fee in either case, but it will probably be reasonable and commensurate with the importance of your project.
