Know-How Exchange : Taglines/Names

We can help, but we need to have a little more information first.

Let's start with your target audience. Who are they? Where do they live? How (and how often) do they select an interior design consultant? What are the most important criteria in their minds?

Next, what problem are you having that would suggest that "trust" is an important concept for your tagline? Do you have a competitor that has betrayed a trust? Is this something that sets you apart from the competition? Is it something at the forefront of your customers' minds, or is it just your "inside joke?"

Then let's get into the real positioning issue: What makes you different from, and better than, your competitors? WHY should a prospective client come to you? What's your unique positioning benefit? If we spoke with your most satisfied customers, what would THEY point to as your key strength?

Finally, how are you going to use the tagline, and what do you expect it to do for you? What's driving the sudden need to have a tagline?

If you give us this information, we'll come up with a great tagline for you.

BTW, how will you judge our suggestions? What criteria will you use to select the winner? If we know that there's a much better chance we can get it right the first time. Without that understanding we're groping in the dark.

And P.S.: What's the NAME of your company? We don't want to repeat any keywords from the name in your tagline. (Do you have a website? That would help us understand what you're doing and saying about the business.)

Mustard Seed Interiors is a new set-up. It is dedicated exclusively to corporate office interior design. We offer services such as:

- Interior Design & Drafting Service
- Interior Renovation
- Space Planning
- Project Management
- Re-instatement Works
- Turnkey Project

The bible uses mustard seed to talk about faith – So long we have faith as small as a mustard seed, the impossible will be made possible. Faith is about trusting someone or something. We need faith to see our business grow and prosper. Our clients need faith to engage our services. Ultimately, we want to build Mustard Seed Interiors as a trustworthy and reliable entity in which our clients look forward to work with. The above would explain why the tag line should have the word 'Trust' or a synonym that is to the same effect of the word.

We like this particular tagline - “The first thing we build is trust”. It is short and sweet. Also, the word “build” is related to what we do - we are builder. “Trust” ties in with our company name and its goal. Too bad, it has been taken.

Btw, the tagline will be used in our corporate stationary (business card, letterhead, etc) and marketing collaterals.
