Online Travel Company Needing A Catchy Tagline

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We have a company name that may not be too explanatory and are looking for a great tagline to make things a little clearer to prospective customers. The company itself does timeshare exchanges, much like RCI or Interval International. For those not in the know this is basically an accommodation pool where various owners from around the world add their weeks of accommodation they have purchased and then pick out similar accommodation in return (this is known as an exchange). This way they don't need to go on the same holiday to the same country year after year. What make this company different is that its online so costs will be a lot cheaper but still offering great service. The brand is being angled at more of the fun side of life (holidays) so quirky sayings and cheeky messages are not out of place. Your help is much appreciated!

Are you stuck with the bad name? Is there anything in it that suggests what you do or why anyone might care? Or does the tagline have to do everything?

If there's any way to change the name so it helps with the benefit communication, that would be my recommendation. Timeshare exchanges are hard enough to describe without whatever uniqueness you bring to bear.

I'm also not really clear on what makes you any different from or better than RCI or II. Being less expensive isn't really a benefit; it's a pricing strategy. What problem do you solve that RCI and II don't solve? What's unique about the service you provide? Are timeshare owners dissatisfied with RCI and/or II? If so, why? Are you any different/better?
