Therapist Needs Name For Creative Childrens Center

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am a childrens counselor starting a non-profit that will provide programs for children focusing on the development of social/emotional skills. The use of the arts (music, drama, art, storytelling) as well as play will be the methods we use to help engage kids.
Counseling will also be provided to children/teens/families as well as community outreach to agencies/schools. I want a "grassroots" feel rather than an agency feel like the other services in the area. With a background in art therapy I actually want it to feel more like a studio/gathering place where kids feel comfortable to come and have fun while learning valuable life skills. The age range is from preschool-high school.
I love the theme of growing/nurturing and have thought of the name Creative Seeds but not sure this conveys what we are about. Any thoughts or ideas? The name is the only thing left to do before we get started.
Thank you

You could use something that evokes a safe place for transformation (positive) like Crysalis

I had thought of Chrysalis as well but not sure it would be appealing to kids or easy enough for a website search.

As for Creative Seeds, how do you think this sounds?
Creative Seeds - Nurturing Children...Growing Families!

One other name I had considered was
KidsGro - Child Guidance and Creative Enrichment Center

Thanks for the ideas so far!

A couple of other suggestions, in a different direction: Life With heART or Heart Play.

I appreciate all the feedback so far. Could someone comment on the name KIDSGRO and possibly suggest a tagline to go with it?
I am currently leaning toward this name as an umbrella name for the art enrichment program as well as the life coaching/counseling programs which would each have different names. Is this a good idea?
