Help! Produce Delivery Serivce Needs Name Change!

We are NC Fresh Direct and have been contacted by Fresh Direct in NYC that they will take us to court if we dont change our names. We provided food from our local farm in produce delivery boxes that we deliver to our customers front door. Our logo is of a woody, with a surf board on top, then a basket of produce on top of that. We are located at the beach but serve all of NC.

Fresh Direct in NYC delivers groceries...aweful people! Anyway, I need your help coming up with another name.

I like using NC in the name. Any ideas??? HELP!!!!!!!!

    You may want to use the old name as part of your slogan, as a way to keep people from being confused by the new name. Something like:

    "FRESH, DIRECT from the farm"

    I like Mgoodman's suggestion:
    NC Farm at Your Door

    Also, you may or may not want to take the NY firm's letter as a direct reason to change names without looking more into it. Trademarks' do not need to be registered, but come into effect when they are first used in the business. You should check when you started using it versus when they did. If you were earlier, then not only would you not need to change your name, but you could have the fun of sending the same letter back to them to demand that they change their name (or at least, not be able to use it if they expanded into your market). But, this game of chicken can get expensive, given what lawyers cost (but changing a name is also expensive). It appears that fresh Direct was started in 2002 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FreshDirect), though I id find a filing for a company in NY under that name in August 1999 (https://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4001:k23rm3.2.9).     Thank you everyone for your great ideas! I can always depend on you all! I decided to go with "Lettuce Deliver". Its, cute, fun, and the play on words will help people remember us. I accepted all of your answers. Thanks again!
