Name Our Yoga And Wellness Business

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We have been teaching gentle yoga independently to several private groups. We are ready to actually make it a real business and need a name. We want to provide yoga classes and wellness workshops to businesses and public groups at their location (basically we are a studio without walls). Specialize in therapeutic yoga, yoga for baby boomers, those needing stress-relief, and people who simply want to be healthier inside and out. I am a nurse and my partner is a dietitian as well as being yoga instructors. We are operating in the Kansas City area. There are plenty of gyms & studios around that cater to the young, trendy, athletic and/or advanced yoga practitioners. We want to bring yoga to everyone else! Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your suggestions. Unfortunately the ones I liked the most (Yoga in Motion, Yoga Works, Yoga For Health, Yoga to Go, Yoga Solutions) are already taken. At least this has started me thinking. If there are any more suggestions I'd love to hear them! Maybe I should try to avoid using the word "yoga" in the title but use it in the tag line?

YogaMotion is so perfect...but it is taken. It actually is trademarked as well. Why are some business names trademarked and other are not? They all seem to be small yoga studios. If they are not trademarked can I name my business the same name or would that cause me problems? When I search google I often find several businesses with the same name; sometimes they are selling the same services and sometimes they are selling something completely different.
