    Dear Princess Amy,

Advice? Yes. Steer clear of catchy names.

Here's why: if the most memorable thing about your presentation is its title, you'll have wasted your time and, far worse, the time of your audience.

You aim ought to be to have your audience taking useful facts away with them. So give them useful facts and consider calling your presentation something along the lines of:

"Video Game Violence: 7 Things Every Parent Needs to Know"

    OR

"10 Things That Will Change Your Attitude About Video Game Violence Forever!"

Both these titles give your audience advanced knowledge that they'll leave your presentation with more information that when they sat down. Advanced knowledge helps to set people's thinking, it helps to give them an edge over other people. When we have an advantage like this, we tend to think we know more than the average schmoe, and the more you can latch into this, the more you'll draw in your audience.

It's for this reason that "How to ... " books are so popular.
They give us an edge over our competition.

I hope this helps. Good luck with your presentation.

Are you trying to sway popular opinion or present some startling information? Or are you trying to give people a strong reason why they must not miss your presentation? Who is the presentation targeting - people who play games or those that don't? What's the #1 take-away you want people to leave with the understanding of. Focus on the key benefit to your talk.
