Need Help With Name And Tag Line 4 Travel Club/co

Hi Everyone!

Thank u for taking the time to look at my post. I am a student currently about to graduate and plan to start my own business in the Spring of 2011(Full Service Special Events Planner and Travel Coordinator). I am currently working as an event planner and would love to be able to provide group travel packages as well as special event services for my clients. (At their request ex. destination weddings, Spring break trips, group or family vacations etc.) I am going to keep my current job(Special Events Manager for a record label) and would like to start this as a travel club, for friends and family, while also making it clear that I offer event planning services as well. I have been asked to plan multiple weddings and events in different states and countries by friends and family which inspired me to get my travel agent credentials. This way I will also be able to take care of the groups travel arrangements. Hopefully in time I will be able to develop it into something bigger. (people who take my trips ask me to plan group trips and events for them in the future in different destinations or at home or will go on another one of my trips :)

I will be designing a creative group package on every trip taken, working with tour guides and travel suppliers at deep discount prices who will be the ones giving the actual tours. I will attend the trips as well to ensure that everyone is having a great trip and that things are going as planned. In the case of a destination wedding or a different type of event I will be there as well to set things up and direct/assist the staff in creating a special time for everyone. I plan to do this 2 or 3 times a year as a travel club. The event part would only be if someone asked me to plan something for them.

The name I have in mind is Destined with Design.

I like it because not all my events will involve travel..say I plan a wedding for someone in my own home town. In that case it could mean two people destined for each other.

Say the event does involve travel. (Ex. My flight is destined for Japan)

The "with design" part I liked because I will be designing all the trips and events!

I'm very focused on every major aspect of the business and marketing so I'm having a little block when it comes to a name and tag line. If you have any ideas for me they would be greatly appreciated and I would really value your opinions on Destined with Design.

    For someone who is "very focused on every major aspect of the business and marketing," it's odd that your original posting is all about you and what you want to do, and what you want to offer, and not about the people who count -- your target customers.

    We need to understand who your primary target audience is, what words they use to describe their needs, what important and unique benefit you're promising, and why they should use your services instead of those offered by your competitors.

    Focus on those "major aspects" of your marketing plan, and we'll help you come up with a great name and tagline. Without that information, we're just playing a game ... and the chances we'll give you what you need are slim and none.

    "Destined with Design" doesn't sound like a business that's serving the clientele you're targeting (which means you'll need to spend time/money explaining who you serve instead of spending the time/money explaining how you're the best at solving a specific problem). Instead, how about "The Perfect Destination" or "Special Destination Events"?
