Naming A Management Training Program

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
We have developed a training program for managers.

It teaches them innovation, and how to execute on their innovative strategies. One feature is a simulation that allows them to experience the results of their thinking and acting in teams, and receive feedback.

I am looking for a name that will be shorter than the existing name: "Managing for Innovation and Execution," but still be compelling.

Who is the customer? Who buys these seminars? Is it the individual managers or some HR person, purchasing agent, or senior exec?

What are the characteristics of your ideal candidate? What's in it for them to participate in the seminar? What's the positioning benefit?

How do your target customers learn about you and what you have to offer? Is it a personal sales call? An advertisement of some kind? Other?

    Hello!

    You might consider:

    InnovAct
    InnovAction
    InnovActs
    InnovActions

This plays on your offerings of innovative thinking, and the subsequent actions (execution).

    OR

MIA - Managing for Innovation and Action

Use the more common interpretation of this acronym (Missing in Action) as a marketing call to action. "Are you MIA? If you aren't Managing for Innovation and Action, you are simply Missing in Action...etc.

    Kind regards,

    Ryan

Execute has rather negative connotations as well... ;)

An example of how I was suggesting to use MIA as a creative play on words, using your example of Execute:

"Execute... or Be Executed" by Sam Geist "18 ways to move strategic thinking, to strategic doing."

Too forward thinking. Better to follow Bossidy and Charan I suppose.
