Corporate Title And Tagline For Spiritual Business

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
My company, Divine Transformation, offers many different types of services. The goal is to offer services that inspire, facilitate, and support transformation in individuals and couples through educating, training, ministering, counseling, healing, and coaching.

A business card with all of those services is not practical. I am trying to think of both a creative title and a creative tagline that people would pick up the card and even if they didn't understand everything that I did, they would be intrigued enough to go to the website and learn more.

Feel free to visit my website at www.divinetransformation.com if that will help you get a better idea of a way to create a title and tagline. Thank you!

Transformation is very difficult to sell. It's an abstract and very subjective thing, and most people don't recognize the need (if they have it), or they don't describe the need in their own minds as "transformation."

So your real problem is describing what you do in terms that will resonate with your target audience. You need to tell them a story that they'll identify with, that will let them imagine how their lives will be different/better after you work your magic.

We've worked in this area before (and have an active project now), and it's very difficult. Your best bet might be to get a few "success stories" or testimonials. Let satisfied customers tell your story in their own words, from their own perspectives.

People just don't go around thinking, "I could sure use some transformation." They do that with toothpaste or snack food or detergent, but not with spiritual counseling.

Sorry that there's no easy answer. Your problem isn't a title or a tagline. It's a meaningful and compelling positioning promise -- that describes the benefit that your target audience will find attractive.

Michael's given you sage advice. One way you might proceed is to ask your past clients "Why did you choose ME?". They'll probably describe their problem, alternatives they explored, and then what made you stand out enough to hire you. The words they use is where you want to start crafting your marketing message (not just for your business card, but also for your website).
