Tag Line For An Audit Firm

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
The Audit firm I have recently joined is highly reputed locally but are very orthodox and always liked to keep it that way. They have never had a tagline before.
But now they are trying to convey reliability with dynamism due to the nature of our core service.
If it helps the initials/acronym of the firm is BLS.
I wanted a catchy but 'we mean business' type of tag line. But, I just cant think of something well constructed.
Any ideas? Tips (rather than the usual)?
Regards.

First, we need to understand who the target audience is. With whom are you trying to position yourself?

Next, it would help if we knew WHY this new need for a tagline. What's changed? Is there a new competitor? Are you more reliable now than you used to be? More dynamic? If more dynamic, what does that really mean? Do you take more risks? Have you changed your basic philosophy in some way?

Help us understand what's driving this, and we can help you with a tagline.

And, FWIW, the initials/acronym are useless for this purpose. What would be helpful is knowing where you are located (and where your clients are located), and what the name of the firm is. (Or are the initials just the first letters of three names that currently identify the firm?)

Always remember that 'taglines' should have alliteration in them. That's what makes the best ones work.. Not knowing your company name it's hard for me to give an example. Hey I'm in the Dog business but here's an example. 'Unite Elevate and Celebrate Mutts'.

Yours might go along the lines of 'Old School values No New School Taboos'.

Does that make sense in terms of aliteration?

    Hey guys,
Let me explain a bit more about the company.
Behl, Lad & Al Sayegh - Chartered Accountants is a partnership of 3 well qualified, senior Chartered Accountants. Their staff consists mainly of accountants and auditors.
The company provides numerous services such as:
    # Auditing & Assurance
    # Accounting & Supervision
    # Internal Audits & Systems Review
    # Business Valuations & Due Diligence
    # Project Appraisals & Feasibility Studies
    # Business Set Up Services
    # Budgeting & Projections
    # Company Liquidation
    # Staff Recruitment & Training

The target market are all types of companies, as the law in Dubai requires companies to get thier financials audited. Auditing is the company's core service.
The people we are trying to reach out are the CFO/Executive level/Business Owners.

This company was established in excess of 10 years. Ranks in the top 15 audit companies in the country. Highly reputed amongst banks and the local market.

Their competitors are but ofcourse the Big 4 (PwC, KPMG, etc), as well as other B category audit companies.

Extrememly professional attitude and highly reliable.
In short, they provide the service just like the Big 4 but at half or a third of the price. In other words, Quality of a Benz for the price of a Camry.

I recently joined the company and have observed that there is very low visibility in the market as compared to inferior competitors. The law here does not permit you to post ads directly. It is regarded cheap and unprofessional for the service sector. But that doesnt mean I can't work around that on other promotions such as corporate gifts, web presence, associations and affiliations, etc.

Its high time this company got some Botox injected in it to make it look a bit more dynamic (as in adapting with the ever changing market and needs of their clients YET stay highly stable, reliable and dependable without overcharging unlike their Big 4 competitors). For this, I required a tagline.

Thank you for the posts up till now.
    Looking forward for more.

    Regards.

Maybe I'm nuts but if you want a tagline that says "we mean business" how about:

    We Mean Business

Quite frankly 'Markitek', I feel 'we mean business' is way too overplayed and cliched. Just a second back, It it crossed my mind that if I had no other choice and were to try to implement your suggestion, I wouldrather go for 'we mean bu$iness'. Im hoping that, that would give the 'dynamism with reliability' message as I want to incorporate so badly..
Oh well, just my 2 cents.

Looking forward to more posts. C'mon guys! 'We try harder' implementation here lol.

Jokes apart, hats off to guys for helping me out.

    Regards.
