Name For Cheese And Gourmet Cookware Shop

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello all,

We are taking over a shop that sold kitchenware and gifts, quite a mixed bag (good quality and less so). It is in an up and coming area with no good cheese shops - yet.

We're planning to pare down the choice to a more limited line of good quality utensils and kitchen- serving-ware and sell fresh cut artisan cheese and expand rapidly to other gourmet food items.

So, we need a catchy but clear name.
So far, have come up with:

Gourmet & cheese
Cheese Etc.
Great tastes - gourmet & cheese

Your input will be much appreciated!

Thank you for your fast and helpful answer Phil! We think that the word "cheese" must be in the name to facilitate people looking for cheesemongers on line and in directories, and, as you say adding the words "gourmet" and "more" does make things clear.

Still taking advantage of the weekend for some more brainstorming (although this may not be the best time to get answers from forum members...?)

Do any of these resonate more particularly with you?

Ones which evoke both cheese and related kitchenware items:
    Cheeseboard Gourmet
    The Cheese Grater
The Cheese Dome Gourmet … or Cheesedom Gourmet
A Cut Above - cheese & gourmet (works with meats too, and knives, and general quality also starts with an A and puts you at the top of all alphabetical listings)
Artisan Cheese and Gourmet (also for the A at the start)
    Cheese and Essentials

    Ones stressing the gourmet/taste aspect:
The Epicurean - Gourmet & Cheese
    or Epicurean Cheese & Gourmet,
    or Epicurean Cheese and More
The Gourmet Touch – cheeses and more
    Cheese and Chef
    Gourmet Pleasures Cheese Shop
    The Serious Gourmet Cheese Shop
Everyday Epicure - Cheeses and More

PS, perhaps I should have said, the shop is in Australia. Thanks in advance,
    Janet
