Simplify A Complex Event Name

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I have read the comments about "catchy" names and I don't really need catchy (that's a plus) but I do need to simplify a long mouthful of words to get the message across what the event is about:

"A late-afternoon / early-evening wine tasting and charity art auction with a live jazz ensemble. The wine, jazz, and art are all created by local members of the community."

The best I have come up with so far is just:
"Wine, Art & Jazz, All Locally Grown"

The "local" aspect is important because this is a semi-rural area and people are big on supporting the local economy rather than seeing their dollars go "out to the city".

Any help/ideas are welcome

Instead of the word "local," how about the name of the town, region, or a nearby landmark? Then it can be:

    [TownName] Wine, Jazz and Art

[TownName] can be the name of a lake, mountain, area nickname, etc., if the town name is too long.

I know it can go against the grain, but a "call to action" is just that regardless of the length of the message that needs to get across.

    Drink, View and Listen
    Wine, Art and Jazz
    All Locally Produced

All you would need to do is justify the text

Of course if you wanted a bit of fun you could have.

Organic Wine, Orgasmic Art and Optimum Jazz
    P.S It's all local

    Hope that helps
