In Need Of A Name For A Hair Bow Boutique

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I have been making and selling hair bows for a year. Recently I have had an increase in random sales and would like to make a real business of making and selling hair bows and other hair accessories. My dilemma is that I cannot come up with an original/unique name that is not already taken or very close to something already taken. My best idea so far has been Flower Power "Bow"tique. I would like something catchy along the lines of flowers because my most popular item is the gerbera daisy flower clips. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your suggestion. I should have been more clear. I don't really like the flower power idea. It has just been the only suggestion I have received from friends and family that wasn't already in use. I think the whole flower power thing sounds a little hippie like and that's not me or my product.

I've been brainstorming and my daughter's name is Jimi Makynlee and I am leaning towards a name Makynlee's BowTiqu and use a variations Phil's tagline Hand-made hair essentials.

Sound okay? Any recommendations to make it better?

Why not simply, "Shayla's Handmade Bows"? Then add a tagline such as "Decorate Your Hair Beautifully".

In my opinion, "Makynlee's BowTiqu" will be hard to spell (which means a website domain name will be hard to find) and for some, pronounce.

I really don't like my own name. And my plan is to start with selling in kids consignment stores and craft consignment stores so a website isn't really in my near future. My fiancée absolutely opposes the idea of having a computer to sit on all day long. We have successfully ran his business for 3 yrs and expanded without the use of internet. But thanks for the suggestions.
