Need Help In Naming Alternative Medicine Center

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello! I am a licensed acupuncturist in Utah. I am looking for some guidance on what I should name my alternative medicine center. I have thought of Seay Wellness, Seay is my last name and is pronounced see as in SEE WELLNESS. I provide acupuncture, bodywork, herbs and nutritional supplements, nutritional counseling. My emphasis is on women and children's health and cosmetic acupuncture and skin conditions. Thanks for your help!

Since your last name isn't immediately obvious to pronounce, why not instead name it for the community you're located in (e.g., "Provo Wellness Center")? That'll tie you to the community. Then, use a tagline to spell out what you specialize in, for example: Specializing in Skin Conditions and Cosmetic Acupuncture.

I agree with Jay. Since your name is not easily recognized/pronounced, I think you might be better served by making reference to the area and/or target audience ... or amplifying the benefit of wellness.
