Name For Newsletter

I'm searching for an appropriate name for a newsletter focusing on the visually challenged/blindness/eye care and health.

    Who is going to read this newsletter and what benefit will it provide for them? Give us some background and we'll help you come up with an appropriate name.

    The newsletter will deliver news primarily to those who are visually challenged, those who are involved in helping to prevent blindness such as opthalmologists,organisations such as the World Health Organisation, the visually challenged. The newsletter will share human interest stories/facts on blindness/diseases of the eye and how to help those who are visually challenged - just to name a few.

    There are two ways to think about the title of this newsletter: one that focuses on the challenge, another that embraces it with clear goals of whom you want to read. Therefore, my suggestions:

    • Vision

    • Unique Vision

    • Eye on the World

    • Eye on Site

    • The Eye

    What's the name of the sponsoring organization? Is there any reason not to use that in the name of the newsletter? Or at least refer to it? Or include it in a tagline?

    If you're trying to get your target audience to subscribe to the newsletter, you probably need to identify yourself and begin to establish your credential as a source worth noting.

    Is the newsletter just for members/subscribers? Hardcopy, online or both? If online, will it have its own site or will it simply be linked from the organization's primary site?

    Thanks to you all for responding . The organisation is the World Council or the Blind . I could use the name as a tagline. The body is in the process of developing its website trying to target persons outside of the usual member organisations.

    The newsletter will be linked to the website although i'm thinking of it being attached to its own site. So in all honesty , right now i'm just trying to figure out the kinks in the hope of having an excellent publication.
